Application projects
Pragmatic courses, application projects
All students at the school participate in a BIM pilot project based on the complete study of a reinforced concrete building structure on piles with a metal frame extension. During this project, students directly apply the skills acquired throughout their civil engineering specialization course.
The school provides a set of professional software to its students:
- For structural calculations: AUTODESK – ROBOT, TEKLA (TRIMBLE), ANSYS, SOFISTIC
- For geotechnical calculations: TERRASOL Suite (FOXTA, K-REA, TALREN), RIDO, PLAXIS, CESAR, ROCSCIENCE, ALYZE For 3D drawings useful for site installation plans: SKETCHUP from the TRIMBLE suite, REVIT
- For BIM modeling: TEKLA from the TRIMBLE suite
- For organization and planning courses: MS PROJECT.
Supervised by an expert engineer in BIM structural modeling, this very high added value project provides additional benefits to all our students.

Concrete Specialization Projects Driving Excellence
At ISBA TP, our commitment to exceptional training is demonstrated in concrete ways through exciting specialization projects. At the end of the training period, our students embark on group projects, specifically adapted to their specialization course.
These projects allow the direct application of acquired knowledge and offer total immersion in the professional world.
For specializations in engineering structures, students embark on the design and calculations of a composite bridge, deploying their expertise to solve real challenges in the field.
In Infrastructure and geotechnics, the project concerns the design and calculations of a port structure, putting into practice the skills necessary to design robust structures.
In the field of earthquake engineering and advanced modeling, our students distinguish themselves by modeling a complex structure, such as the simulation of the earthquake stay cables of the RION ANTIRION bridge.
In the modeling of smart eco-connected buildings, our students model the building, the transit of data and set up alarms and monitoring.
These projects provide a unique opportunity to apply theoretical concepts to real-world situations, preparing our students to meet the most demanding challenges of the civil engineering industry.
